We started this kitchen because we like having space to work.  The number of tenants is never more than seven and everyone gets plenty of storage place.  This also helps to keep the kitchen very clean.  Bleach, dish soap, paper towels, hand soap are all provided.

The kitchen has been running for two years now.  There's composting, recycle and trash available.  We mostly compost and recycle, diverting 6,720 pounds of compostable materials and 6,000 pounds of single stream recyclables every year.  Trash use is about that of an average household.
